In den verworrenen Tagen das Jahres 1999 beschlossen die Macher der animierten Zeichentrickserie „Home Movies“ (dt. „Der kleine Meisterregisseur“), dass eines der Dinge, die der Welt bis dahin noch gefehlt hatten ein Franz Kafka Musical sei.

Also machten sie eines.

In der Serie geht es um Brendon, der mit seinen Freunden Melissa und Jason in seinem Keller Videos dreht – Parodien von Filmen meistens. Oder eben ein Franz Kafka Musical. Was 8jährige halt so in ihrer Freizeit tun. Der Zusammenschnitt stammt aus Folge 6 der ersten Staffel. Und hier sind die Lyrics, leicht schief transkribiert, aber es reicht für einen Eindruck:
